Recommended Parts to Use Thule License Plate Bracket on a 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid
Question:
Have a 2019 plug-in hybrid Ioniq. Below is the recommended information that was provided to me in previous correspondence. Installing on a Thule EasyFold XT Couple questions: What is the Curt alternative to the Tekonsha T-One #118758? Is there much difference quality/feature wise?? Will this allow connection of both tail lights and illuminated bike rack licence plate holder?Do I need to order some sort of splitter to add the illuminated Thule universal plate holder. Going to go with the Curt C53201 LED indicator lights.

The Curt alternative to the Tekonsha # 118758 that I initially recommended for your 2019 Hyundai Ioniq Plug-In Hybrid is the part # C56381. Some of the Curt and Tekonsha wiring are comparable but with your vehicle Tekonsha is using their upgraded module which is why I recommend going that route instead.
The Curt Auxiliary LED Indicator Lights # C53201 is just for the running, stop, and turn signals so you'll need to cut and splice the wiring that comes with the Thule License Plate Holder # TH35JV with Butt Connectors # DW05744-5 in order to illuminate your license plate.
