You would need to talk with a Ford dealer because there is going to likely be a lot of steps and other equipment needed in the cab and under the hood to install the factory brake controller. Also, the factory controllers are notorious for not working nearly as well as aftermarket controllers and they rarely will work at all with electric over hydraulic braking systems. I am also not sure what having the OEM controller installed, parts and labor, would cost you but I am certain it would be much more than an aftermarket controller.
If you want to go with an aftermarket controller I can help you with that. If your truck has a factory 7-Way trailer connector then all you will need is the brake controller itself and the proper wiring harness. For a brake controller I recommend the P2 # 90885 because it is easy to set up, easy to use, and its reliable. And it does work with electric or electric over hydraulic braking systems.
The proper wiring harness is # 22292. It will just plug into the controller and the proper connector on the truck. The connector on the truck is located under the dash/center console area. To access this connector, first locate the instrument cluster finish panel in the center of you dash, near the driver's side. Carefully pry the panel out and undo the locking tabs to remove the panel. Plug the adaptor into the mating connector in the large gray housing behind the panel. I have linked a video showing an installation for you.
If the truck only has a 4-Way trailer connector you will also need to add a 7-Way, # 37185 and hardwire the blue brake controller wire to the blue wire on the 37185 using additional wire # 10-1-1 sold in 1 foot increments.
