Enclosed Locking Trailer Hitch Mount Cargo Carrier for a 2014 Chevy Express Van

We have a 2014 low top Chevy Express Van and we are interested in purchasing a rear hitch mounted luggage carrier if possible that is enclosed and locks and will allow us to open the rear doors of the van when it is mounted on the van. -Which brands and models of luggage carriers could you recommend for to check- out. -Do these luggage carriers actually hold lugage? If so how much?

For an enclosed trailer hitch mounted cargo carrier that can move out of the way for access to the rear doors of your 2014 Chevy Express Van there is one option. Take a look at the Yakima EXO Swing Away Enclosed Cargo Carrier - 2" Hitches - 10 cu ft - 100 lbs # Y62VR. As you can see, the carrier swings off to the side of the vehicle for access to the rear.
It can be locked and has 10 cubic feet of space on the inside. The capacity is 100 pounds. The interior dimensions are 51-11/16" long x 17-1/2" wide x 14-9/16" tall. A
If the box is not large enough for your needs, then the other option is to carry your luggage in a cargo box on the roof of your van. You would need to install a roof rack made of the following parts:
Thule ProBar Evos # TH713600
Thule Rapid Gutter Feet # TH65BJ
You could then mount a cargo box. For a box with a lot of space, 22 cubic feet, you can use Motion 22 box # TH629906. I have linked some helpful videos for you. Using a tire step, # HE4040, will make loading/unloading and mounting the box easier.
