Adding 7-Way Trailer Connector to 2014 Toyota Tacoma without Factory Tow Package
Question:
I bought a factory wiring harness from toyota and installed it correctely. When I installed the relay in the fuse box and went to install the fuse there was no clip on one side to make contact. What can I do to remedy the problem? It is a 2014 toyota tacoma and the part # is PT725-35120

It sounds like your 2014 Toyota Tacoma did not come with a factory tow package. What can happen sometimes is that on models that did not come with the factory tow package not all of the wiring or contacts will be present. You would either need to by all of the tow package parts or you would need to return the harness and install an aftermarket one designed for models without the factory tow package.
If you want to add a 7-Way to the truck you would start by installing a 4-Way using # 118496. Then you would need to install 4 and 7-Way installation kit # ETBC7. I have included some links that show and explain the ETBC7 installation for you.
