Is It Ok To Install The Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660 On A Residential Street

When installing the Reese anti sway system is the residential street ok or do I need to go to a parking lot? Thnx!!

It really doesn't matter where you install the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660, you'll just want to install it on fairly level ground. If you installed it on a hill where the trailer was at a different angle than the tow vehicle then it would affect the effectiveness of the friction bar and either be too tight or too loose. Luckily this style of sway control is very easy to install and adjust by simply turning the handle.
