Can Reverse Light Circuit of 7-Way be Used for Reverse Lights and Reverse Lockout
Question:
I want to convert my 5 way flat plug to 7 way round. I have surge brakes and I believe it would go on the center post. Can I also use this for backup lights on the trailer as well? It would be both surge brakes lockout and backup lights on the same terminal. Would this be OK?

Yes, the reverse light circuit of a 7-way like the # PK12706 was designed for both a reverse lock out solenoid or a reverse light on the trailer so either way it would work great for you.
