What Will Allow Suspension of Single Axle Trailer to Be Smoother
Question:
I have a cargo craft enclosed trailer with single axel how can I make this trailer less bouncy and reduce vibration and and improve the tow quality. I transport commercial printers and this trailer is great but could be better. Today I reached California from Dallas towing this trailer the equipment is perfect and no issues but I’d like to enhance this trailer and add some airbags which ones would you recommend. I tow with a 2019 f250 longbed I’ll install airbags on this truck as well in the near future but for now I’d like to get the bounce out of this trailer. Your help is greatly appreciated

What you will want to get rid of the bouncing is a shock kit. Shocks work with the springs of the trailer suspension by slowing the movement of the suspension down so that it drastically is smoother. All vehicles have shocks but trailers do not which is why they are so much rougher.
If the trailer has a 2-3/8 inch diameter axle the correct shock kit you would need is the part # LC281255 or if it's 3 inch diameter part # LC281281.
While air bags sound soft they actually are known to be very harsh so that would definitely not be the route to go to smooth things out.
