Can Erickson Strap Hanger Be Used As Anchor
Question:
Erickson strap hanger. I have commercial straps with a 3-4inch hook plate on one end of the strap. Im looking for an anchor to mount to my trailer so I can use these straps. Will this hangerinch take the pull of a ratchet strap?

The Erickson Strap Hanger and Storage Unit # EM58000 is designed to store your straps. This is not designed as an anchor and should not be used as one. Instead, you can use a tie down anchor like the # 337B40MP which has a working load limit of 6,130 lbs.
