How to Tell if Hydrastar Disc Brake Kit Will Fit a 2008 KZ Sportster 40P Toy Hauler
Question:
I have a 2008 KZ Sportster 40P Toy hauler with A GVWR of 18,000 Lb Triple Axle Model T 60 AL-KO KOBER / Dexter Axles. Would this kit be a match for my existing wheels and fitment? Also do you carry a regular drum hub brake kit for for my application

Expert Reply:
As long as your current hubs use the following bearings and grease seal, the Hydrastar Disc Brake Kit w/ Actuator # HYD54FR will work for your trailer:
- Inner bearing 25580
- Outer bearing 14125A
- Grease Seal 2.250" ID and 3.376" OD
This also uses 9/16" studs so you'll need to ensure this matches your current setup.
For drum brake alternatives you'll need the following for a hydraulic actuator:
- 7K Uni-Servo # T2351300-200 OR Duo-Servo # 23-336-337
- Hub and Drum Kit # 42866UC3-EZ
This hub and drum kit has 1/2" studs so you'll want to match that to your current setup as well.
