Installation of Draw-Tite Class II # 36538 Receiver Hitch on 2014 Cadillac XTS
Question:
how is a draw tite hitch installed on a 2014 cadillac xts? is there any new holes that have to be drilledor is itinstaled to bolts that are all ready there,does the muffler sistem need to be ed, in order to be instaled?

The Draw-Tite Class II hitch, part # 36538 does indeed make use of existing holes, but the hole used for the forward-most attachment point will need to be enlarged with a 1/2 inch drill bit. The exhaust does not need to be dropped, but one of the exhaust hanger bolts is replaced with a longer bolt.
If you will be towing with your XTS, I would recommend a ball mount like # C45503. You will also need a hitch ball like # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch ball or # 19258 for a 2 inch ball. To complete your trailer setup, you would also need to install a 4-pole trailer wiring harness using # C59236.
