Solution for a Yakima Skybox 16 Cargo Box That Won't Open With the Control Key
Question:
My daughter has a Skybox 16 that is currently locked. None of the keys she has open the skybox. She has 2 lock cylinders both stamped with No15 for which she has keys. I bought a replcement SKS key and she already had a SKS Control Key. The SKS key does not fit the lock cylinder and will not allow me to rotate the lock cylinder 45 degrees to remove it. The lock cylinders currently on the box have no numbers stamped on them.

It sounds like you have everything you need, however the control key are only going to work on unlocked locks. So, if your locks are still locked, which is what sounds like what's happening, then the key isn't going to work.
So since the keys you have are not working, you're unfortunately going to need to drill out the lock core to get the old one out. From here, you can replace the lock cores with the new ones and be able to operate the Skybox.
