Suspension Enhancement for a 2013 Ford F-150 with Draw-Tite Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Installed
Question:
Looking to get a Ride Rite system on my 2013 F150 but I have a drawtite gooseneck hitch. Do I get 2525 or 2542?

Firestone Ride-Rite kit # F2542 is designed to work ONLY on trucks that have a B and W hitch installed. Since you have a Draw-Tite hitch we can scratch this one off and look at kit # F2525.
Kit # F2525 has brackets that mount to the outsides, bottoms, and a little on the insides of the truck frame rails on your 2013 Ford F-150. The Draw-Tite gooseneck hitch for your truck also has brackets that mount to the outsides of the frame so kit F2525 will not work with the hitch installed.
A different option such as Timbren springs # TFR1504D for 4x4s or # TFR1502D for 2-wheel drive could work for you since the brackets mount on the underside and inside of the frame rails. Timbren springs are a great option for carrying the same or similar loads all the time, like when towing a 5th wheel or gooseneck trailer. And you do not have to add or remove air all the time.
