Can 2" Coupler Be Installed on a 13K GVWR Dump Trailer
Question:
Question is: I have a double axel 12’ dump trailer that is 3500 ish # and can haul a 9500# load. It has a. 2 5/16 adjustable ball coupler I would like to change it to a 2” coupler. Do you make a 2” coupler for the weight of my trailer?

Standard 2" hitch balls are going to cap out at about 10K - 12K for weight. Since it sounds like your trailer can weight up to 13K you really need to stick with a 2-5/16" hitch ball for safety reasons.
If the issue is having a ball mount with just a 2" hitch ball then I recommend getting a combo kit ball mount like the BulletProof Hitches 2-Ball Mount for 2" Hitch # MD204. This comes with a 2" hitch ball rated for 10K as well as a 2-5/16" hitch ball rated for 14K.
