I have a 1968 12’ kit companion with 10” drums, 5 bolt lug with backing plates. Which electric brakes will fit my trailer?

There's a chance you could use a modern set of 10 inch brake assemblies on your trailer with the part # AKEBRK-35-SA but due to the age of your trailer the axle would have had to have been replaced at some point. If the bolt pattern that holds your current assemblies to the brake flange is a 4 bolt pattern that is 2-7/8 inches square these would fit and work great.

Do the 10 inch brake assemblies on your trailer attach with 4 mounting studs? If so, then you have standard 10 inch brake assemblies and the part #23-468 for the left side and part #23-469 for the right hand side would fit your trailer.
