The only trimming required when installing the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e95ZR on your 2023 Hyundai Palisade is to the underbody panels. You will not have to trim any of the rear bumper fascia for this installation. I have linked an installation video below which shows the entire installation process with trimming the underbody panels.

I recommend installing the 4-Way Harness # C59236 when you install the receiver. This will give you the connector most commonly used on small trailers you might tow. It can also be used with Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if you are using a hitch mounted accessory which impairs the view of your tail lights.
