Recommended Weight Distribution Hitch For a 2015 Forest River Rockwood Roo 19 Travel Trailer
Question:
We are hoping to purchase a 2015 Rockwood Roo 19, and plan to pull it with our 2008 GMC Envoy SLT. Do we need a weight distribution system? If yes, what kind? Thanks!

I recommend using the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0800 to tow your 2015 Forest River Rockwood Roo 19. The weight distribution helps to reduce rear end sag and keeps your 2008 GMC Envoy level when towing. This gives you improved steering feel and braking. It will also help to reduce trailer sway as the hitch has sway control built in. This hitch is rated for a trailer weighing up to 8,000lbs with a tongue weight of 400-800lbs. Your Roo has a dry tongue weight of 446lbs with a GVWR of 4,846lbs which puts you towards the lower end of the weight capacity for the hitch. This ensures you do not overload the hitch when you add your camping gear.
You will need a 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6100 and a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 to install it on your hitch.
