Can 2022 GMC Sierra 2500 with OEM Prep Use Fixed Hitch Towing 2023 Chaparral 5th Wheel

Question:

I have a 2022 Sierra 2500HD 6.5ft bed and am buying a 2023 Chaparral fifth wheel....I need a hitch that will fit my 2500 but also work in a 3500 when I upgrade...both would have the factory pucks.....main question is do i need to get a slider w/ the standard bed or will the chaparral design be ok w/ the fixed hitch? Thanks.

Since the 2023 Chaparral fifth wheel trailers have a tapered nose that helps with turning clearance you can use a fixed hitch in the bed of your 2022 GMC Sierra 2500 with the OEM pucks like the B and W Companion part # BWRVK3710. This hitch will also work in the bed of a 3500 truck as well.
