Axle length is measured from hub face to hub face. I can find replacement axles based on this measurement, but not backing plate to backing plate. The spring center is less important since spring seats can be moved if necessary. If you want a 3" diameter axle it is going to be a 5,200-7,000 lb axle which won't use hubs that have a 5 lug pattern.
The # e33GR you looked at has a hub face measurement of 86-1/2", spring center length of 71-1/2", and a 3" diameter with a 6,000 lb capacity. This uses # 25580 inner and # 15123 outer bearings so you would be looking at a hub like the # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K with a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern.
The highest capacity we have is 7,000 lbs but at 94" and 95" long like the # 8327834 that is definitely too long for your trailer. If you can let me know what your hub face measurement is I can see if we have a replacement available. I have attached a helpful video below showing exactly how to measure for your reference.
