Recommended Equalizer Upgrade For 2020 Grand Design Transcend 265BH using Factory TREQ104 Equalizer
Question:
I have a 2020 Grand Design Transcend 265BH. It is tandem axle Dexter 3500#. Is has factory suspension with EQ-104 equalizer. Axles are 33” to center. Im consider upgrading the suspension. Been researching the EZ-flex or MORryde cre3000. Along with wet bolt kits. Seems like both equalizers have pros and cons. I’m probably going to be doing the install myself. What recommendations would you have. Planning a long trip the end of July and feel this upgrade would give me some peace of mind… Thank you, Dave

Expert Reply:
Based on your 2020 Grand Design Transcent 265BH's current # TREQ104 equalizers and 33" wheelbase I recommend going with the MORryde CRE3000, as in my opinion it's a better design of an equalizer that does a better job of preventing bumpiness going from the road to the trailer than the Dexter EZ-Flex.
For your trailer you'll need the following components:
MORryde Rubber Equalizers # MR87ZR
MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit # MR58ZR
This is not too bad to install yourself assuming you have jackstands and a jack rated for high enough to raise half of your trailer off the ground at a time.
I included install videos for the products mentioned for you to check out as well.
