Replacement Master Cylinder & Reverse Lockout Solenoid for a AFP A-75 Actuator

Question:

Would this master cylinder work on a boat trailer that has drum brakes or is the pressure higher than the TK71-756-00 master cylinder intended for drum brakes? I have the UFP A-75 actuator and would be nice to have the reverse solenoid integrated into the master cylinder. I dont think there is enough room in the hitch cutout to use the TK71-756-00 master cylinder and the T4748800 solenoid. If not, I know the other option is to change the brakes to the free backing type or continue using the manual reverse lockout. Thanks!

The Replacement Master Cylinder Assembly for Dexter Brake Actuators # TK71-756-00 you're looking at is designed to be used with drum brakes so it'll work just fine as a replacement for your UFP A-75 actuator.

As far as having enough room goes, the reverse lockout solenoid # T4748800 only measures 3" from end to end so I don't see how you'll run into any issues with it fitting.
