Recommended Curt Sliding Hitch for a 2024 GMC Sierra 3500 W/ A Standard Bed
Question:
Im purchasing a 2024 GMC 3500 single rear wheel 4 wheel drive standard bed. It comes with the puck towing system. I have been looking at the Q25 5th wheel hitch. Will this work for this truck or do I need a sliding hitch?

If by "standard" bed you mean a 6-1/2' bed then yes you'd need to use a sliding hitch. Since you're already interested in the Curt Q25 or Q24 hitch I'd recommend going with the Curt Q25 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R24 Slider # C16566 with the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch # C88KR.
This is the same hitch as the Curt Q24 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C37FR that you're interested in, but has a sliding base instead of a fixed base.
