Does Tow Bar Need to Be Level When Flat Towing Vehicle
Question:
I have read that the my new Blue Ox tow bar needs to be level when towing. The hitch on my 2022 Entegra Emblem is 23” high and the Blue Ox base plate pins that are on my 2018 Jeep wrangler are 16” high. Do I need an adapter of some kind and where do I find one.

You do want to have your tow bar sitting as level as possible when you are flat towing. Otherwise you will have suspension components and tire wear/failure on the tow vehicle. Ideally you are as level as possible but if you can get within 3 inches of level (up or down) you'll be good. So in your situation there's a height difference of 7 inches so you would need a high low adapter like the Blue Ox part # BX88241 which fits a 2 inch hitch and provides a 7 inch drop.
If you happen to have a 2-1/2 inch hitch on your Entegra Emblem you'd instead want the part # BLU53XR.
