I took a look at the instructions for the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver item # SH49GR, that fits your 2020 Range Rover. It does not require any trimming to install. I have attached the instructions below along with a screenshot where they explain what in this case doesn't need to be trimmed.
The Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver item # SH49GR is only for using accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier. If you plan on towing you will want the Stealth Hitches Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver w/ Towing Kit item # SH46GR. This kit will give you the ability to do both and a 7-way connector.
