Recommended Replacement Coupler for 17' Key West Boat
Question:
Looking to replace tongue of our boat trailer. Old one is rusted and faulty. Hit a bump in road while traveling and it popped off????? Ball is 2” boat is 17’ft Key west can you recommend one please?

It sounds like you have a straight tongue which is common for boat trailers and in which case we do have coupler replacement options for you like the Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler part # CT-5003-Z which is what I recommend. This coupler fits a standard 3" wide tongue, has a 5,000 lb weight capacity, and uses a 2" hitch ball. Please note, if you need the actual tongue which is part of the frame you would need to source this elsewhere as we don't carry that part.
