Recommended B&W Fifth Wheel Hitch For A 2022 Ram 3500 Long Bed With OEM Puck System

I just bought a 2022 Ram 3500 LB that has pucks in the bed. Can I use the pucks to secure the hitch instead of rails? Im looking at the BandW 18000 lb duel jaw 5th wheel hitch

You definitely can use the pucks to mount a fifth wheel hitch, but you'll have to choose one with the appropriate base so that it fits the spread of the pucks. For a 2022 Ram 3500 LB the only non-sliding hitch they have to fit your pucks is the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3600. The Patriot line you were looking at exclusively fits base rails so it wouldn't be a compatible option.
