Will The B&W Companion 5TH Wheel Hitch Work With Lippert Turning Point 2014 Ram 1500 B&W Turnover
Question:
I have a 2014 RAM 1500 Short bed57 and a BandW underbed Turnover gooseneck installed. My 5th Wheel uses the Lippert Turning Point king pin which has a different pivot point. Can I use the BandW Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch - RVK3500 for this? If not, what do you recommend?

Expert Reply:
The B&W Companion # BWRVK3500 being a single point attachment cannot be used with your Lippert Turning Point or another pin box which changes the pivot point. You can use the B&W Companion Slider # BWRVK3400 which will gain you 12" of clearance when slid to the maneuvering position. To use this you must leave the Lippert Turning Point locked out so that it will not pivot on the frame and will only pivot on the hitch head.
