The smallest Solera slide topper that we currently offer is the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning # LC23FR, which fits 60"' wide slide outs. That being said, at 56" you'd still be within the useable range and would just have a bit extra overhang, which is actually better. The arms of the awning typically extend past the slide out about 2.5" so you'd have that plus an extra 2" for a total of 4-1/2" of clearance needed on either side of the slide out. If there's something else within this space that could interfere with the awning closing back up when the box is retracted then you would not be able to use a slide topper awning.

If you have enough clearance then you'll also want to pick up some butyl tape # AL28FJ to use on the back of the mounting brackets to prevent any water from leaking into the wall.
