Will The Bauer Products Entry Door Lock # BA64FR Fit A 2019 Winnebago Minnie Winnie Motorhome

Question:

I have a 2019 winnebago minnie winnie 26A class c rv. I cannot close the door without holding the exterior handle to retract the latch bolt. After closing the door, I release the handle and all is good. It is NOT a keyless lock. 1. Is there a new latch bolt for the lock? There is no name anywhere on the lock. 2. Is the Bauer BA64FR the exact replacement for my lock? 3. The current lock has a larger handle on the inside. Does Bauer make a lock that has that? I have noticed that Latch It makes a lock that has a similar inside handle. Do yo carry Latch It brand? Thanks

I have seen a few entry door locks that only close if you're pulling the handle open, but that's very much the minority.

You typically can not replace components of a door lock unless you're able to get them directly from the manufacturer, which I haven't known any to really give anything out. They'll typically just have you replace the entire lock.

Without knowing the brand and model of your door lock I can't say for sure that the Bauer Products # BA64FR is an exact replacement, but we can see if it would be a suitable replacement by measuring the cutout hole in your motorhome's door after removing the old door lock. This door lock is designed to fit a 5-1/4" wide x 4-1/2" tall cutout hole.

The inner latch of the # BA64FR is a bit larger than most locks but isn't a large handle to grip onto like you'd see on most OEM door locks for motorhomes. We do not currently off the Latch It brand.

If you can provide me with the cutout hole size I'd be happy to go over the compatible options that we do offer.
