Will The Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Leveling System Stabilize A Trailer Better Than Scissor Jacks

Question:

Will the Lippert 6 point system help make my 2012 Keystone Raptor from moving around so much when people walk in the camper? It came with the OEM 4 point system with Lippert String arms, but it still moves around a lot whenever some walks around or goes in and out of the camper.

Yes, the Lippert Ground Control 3.0 Electric 5th Wheel RV Leveling System w Touchpad and Remote # LC675817 will offer a much more stabilized base for your 2012 Keystone Raptor than the OEM scissor stabilizers. That being said, you may not be able to use the 6-point system and will possibly need to go with the 4-point # LC358590 instead.

The ability to use the 6-point Ground Control 3.0 system is going to depend on the length of your Keystone Raptor. The rear jack brackets should be mounted approximately 12” behind the rear tires. You'll want to mark this position on the sidewall of your trailer and then measure from that point up to the cent of the landing gear pads. If this measurement is 20' or more then you'll be able to use the 6-point system. If it ends up being less than 20' then you'll have to use the 4-point system.

Either way the legs of this system are much sturdier than the scissor jacks you currently have and will allow you to easily adjust and level your trailer out and take away that springboard feeling you have while walking around in the trailer. I've attached a video below where Dave will go over more about this system and walk you through the installation process.
