Can Trailer with Blue Ox 2-Point Weight Distribution Be Backed Up Without Removing Spring Bars
Question:
I have Blue Ox 2PT BLU82XR Weight distribution hitch on Ford F150 STX. I pull a 30ft Travel Trailer. With this hitch can you back up with the spring bars still in place? I have done it several times with smaller 20ft trailer, because the dealer that installed it did not tell me that I couldnt. Thank you for your time.

Since the Blue Ox 2-Point Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # BLU82XR doesn't have a friction sway control bar you can back up without removing the spring bars.
With that being said, spring bars do limit the amount of turning clearance for a towing rig so you might end up having to remove the bars anyways just so you can maneuver your trailer properly.
