Can The Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar Work With Direct-Connect Style Baseplates
Question:
Can I use the Roadmaster 521453-5 baseplate with the stowmaster tow bar on a cc 2021 Jeep Wrangler?

The Roadmaster StowMaster Tow Bar # RM-501 is only designed to work with crossbar-style baseplates like the # RM-521453-4 and would not be compatible with the Roadmaster Direct-Connect style baseplate # RM-521453-5.
If you haven't picked out the rest of your flat towing components then I have the following recommendations for you as well:
Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode kit will splice into your tail light wiring in order to display your motorhome's traffic signals through the tail lights of the Jeep.
If you have ParkSense Proximity Sensors then you'll need to use part # RM63MR instead.
Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39524. This portable system can be easily swapped between other flat towed vehicles and only takes a few minutes to setup and get out on the road. It includes a remote that will show you when the brakes are being activated and allow you to change brake settings without having to get out of the motorhome. It also comes with a charge line kit for the Jeep to keep its battery charged while you tow.
Safety Cables: RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643. The coiled design of these cables will help keep them from dragging on the ground and being damaged.
You may also need a high/low adapter to keep the tow bar level between the Jeep and motorhome so I've attached one of our help articles that will walk you through how to measure and find the size.
