Is Reese Strait-Line RP66084 Correct For 2022 Forest River Surveyor Legend 203RKLE
Question:
Hello, I have what I believe to be the Reese RP66084 Weight Distribution hitch with Sway Control. I had used this some time ago with a large travel trailer and a 2011 F150. Trailer and truck have since changed and I am looking to use with my 2022 RAM 1500 and a 2022 Surveyor Legend 203RKLE having a dry hitch weight of 577#, dry trailer weight of 5030# and GVWR of 7577#. The load bars are labeled with 1200#. Are these load bars acceptable for this application? Thanks for the help.

Helpful Expert Reply:
Yep, the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System # RP66084 is perfect for your 2022 Forest River Surveyor Legend 203RKLE.
Reason is, the # RP66084 is for total tongue weights between 600 lbs and 1,200 lbs, and since loaded tongue weights are generally between 12% and 15% of the trailer's GVWR, you are in the perfect range for this system.
