Recommended 7-Way Wiring Harness for a 2011 Buick Enclave
Question:
Is it possible to add a seven pin wire harness to a 2011 Buick Enclave that does not have factory tow package?

Expert Reply:
Yes, there is. You will need two separate wiring harness though since your 2011 Enclave does not have the towing package. The first one is the Curt Wiring Harness item # C56027. This harness is custom fit and plugs into existing wiring which is located either behind the driver's-side and passenger's-side tail lights or behind the rear bumper.
The second harness you will need is the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller item # ETBC7. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts easily at the rear of your Buick with an included bracket. This kit is designed for use on a vehicle with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it.
I have linked a couple of installation videos along with the instructions so you can see how to get these harnesses set up.
Some other parts you will need to tow a trailer with your Buick Enclave are listed below:
Trailer Hitch - etrailer Hitch item # e98863
Brake Controller - Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller item # RED24FR and Harness item # RED69FR
Ball Mount Kit - Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534
