Recommended Hitch for a 2023 Subaru Outback That Does Not Require Trimming
Question:
With this hitch require me to cut the bumper for a 2023 Subaru Onyx edition? If yes do you have any hitches for this model that does not require the bumper to be cut?

None of the hitches for a 2023 Subaru Outback require you to trim the bumper. To install the Draw-Tite Hitch item # DT94YR you will need to cut a small portion of the trim that is underneath your car. I have attached a screenshot below I took from the instructions that shows this step. You would need to be lying beneath your car to see the trimmed area.
If you do not want to make any cuts to your trim you will want the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch item # DT73RR. This hitch hangs down below the rear of your car instead of behind the bumper. I don't recommend this hitch unless you're driving a leased car. This hangs down significantly lower than item # DT94YR and not only looks completely different but will impact your ground clearance.
I have linked an installation video below.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56040 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
I recommend using the No-Drill Mount Bracket item # 18136 to secure the 4-way connector to your hitch. This will put it in an easy to reach spot and prevent the risk of it falling onto the road.
