Can I Reuse Old Base Rail Mounting Holes With A New Base Rail Kit
Question:
I have 07 dodge ram 3500 ..took out a older and smaller 5th wheel but had drilled holes for old one the ne bandw rail kit calls for 28”3/8 from back bed of the truck..the holes already in are at 28”7/8 will that make a difference in setup the hitch…thank you in advance

Yes, if you don't follow the instructions for the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWRVK2600 then you aren't going to have the brackets line up correctly with the base rails and won't be able to complete the installation. You will have to drill new hole at the specified locations listed in the instructions.
