Will Timbren Kit for 2013 Toyota Tacoma Fill with Water
Question:
The way these are mounted on a Tacoma 4x4, it shows the hollow end of the bumper installed upward. What is to stop them from filling with water, salt, mud....ect. and rusting out the mount or freezing solid allowing no travel ? Thank you,

Due to the design of the Timbren kit part # TABSOSR it would potentially fill with water if they were submerged. This eventually could lead to rusting out the base and even one guy remarked that when filled with water there is a "fart sound" when hitting bumps. The second part could be a pro or a con depending on how refined your sense of humor is.
So instead of going that route I would recommend the SumoSprings Solo part # SSR-610-40 which does not have that void and is known for providing a smoother ride quality while still providing support.
