Replacement 2-1/2 Inch Shank for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System
Question:
I upgraded my tow vehicle from a Ram 1500, which has a 2 inch receiver, to a Ram 2500 with a 2.5 inch receiver. Can I purchase a new shank only or do I need a whole new system? I currently have the E2 Trunnion 92-00-0800 system.

You do not need to replace your Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0800. As you suspected, a new shank is all it will take to get you going again. Fastway doesn't have one for a 2-1/2" receiver, but Equal-i-zer who makes Fastway does. We have the following options available:
-Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 2-1/2" Hitch - 7" Rise, 3" Drop # EQ90-02-4700
-Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 2-1/2" Hitch - 8" Rise, 4" Drop # EQ90-02-4800
-Equal-i-zer Weight Dist Shank - 2-1/2" Hitch - 10" Rise, 6" Drop # EQ90-02-4900
-Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank - 12" Long - 13" Rise, 9" Drop # EQ94FR
-Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Shank - 2-1/2" Hitch - 15" Rise, 12" Drop # EQ34FR
The # EQ90-02-4700 will be the closest to the shank you currently have that came with your system. I listed all of the options in case you need a different rise/drop with your new Ram 2500.
