Will the Curt Wireless Brake Controller Work w/out a Brake Controller Wire?
Question:
Will this Curt Wireless Brake Controller work on my 2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee WITHOUT the factory towing package? It has the hitch, and both a 7-way and 4-way plug outlet, but I do not know if the dealer ran the wiring for the brakes blue wire?? from the plug to the dashboard.

You're in luck because the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller item # C51180 doesn't require the brake controller wire to function. You control the settings from an app on your phone so you don't need the blue wire to change them or hit the manual override. So long as the rest of your 7-way is fully functional you'll be good to go.
