Why Would Hopkins Tow Bar Lighting Kit for 2010 Honda CR-V Prevent Taillights from Working
Question:
I installed Hopkins Custom Tail Light Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles Item # HM56300 on my 2010 Honda CR-V, with the coiled cable connected between my motorhome and CR-V, my CR-V brake lights work fine but when I diconnect the coiled cable, the Honda CR-V alone will be no brake lights on and no voltage to light bulbs. Please let me know what was wrong. Thank you!

Check the condition of the connection made by the connectors of the Hopkins # HM56300. It sounds like they aren't fully seated which would prevent the CR-V taillight signals from getting to the taillights.
