Will Thule Force XTj Sport Cargo Box Clear Rear Hatch on 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
I am thinking of getting a new box for our 2014 Subaru Outback. The main question i have is if this box TH623 will clear the lift gate hatch when it is open and mounted on the factory bars. I saw the video of the TH613 and it shows that one hits. My current box does not clear and is scratching the tinted glass. Thank you for looking onto this and helping me decide.

I checked with Thule and they do list the Force XT Sport cargo box, # TH6356B, as a fit for your 2014 Subaru Outback Wagon without any interference with the rear hatch.
If the crossbars on your Outback can be adjusted forward, doing so will increase clearance between the box and hatch (when opened). You can also adjust the feet in the box more forward or rearward as needed for clearance.
