How Does The Everchill Electric Cooler # EV57FR Lithium Battery Charge

Question:

What is the input voltage range of the EV57FR for the DC input jack? Is the range identical to run the cooler and charge the battery? Will the cooler run on DC while the battery is removed? Can the battery be charged when it is removed from the cooler, and if so, how?

Depending on the adapter used with the Everchill Electric Cooler with Internal Lithium Battery # EV57FR it can accept 12v/24v DC or 100v~240v AC. It is also able to accept 12v~50v from a solar panel system. The only power consumption listed is 90 watts which doesn't tell us a whole lot and whether or not that's the maximum draw but getting information from the manufacturer is a bit like pulling teeth unless you have a receipt.

When plugged into a separate power source the cooler will draw power from the external source instead of the battery. If you removed the battery you would still be able to run the cooler off of the external power source. If you leave the battery in then you'll see a green light pop up indicating that it's charging the battery.

I had one of these pulled from the warehouse to get a better look at it and take some measurements and was able to see the connection for the battery but wasn't seeing any short of charger that it would plug into. Most likely there is some sort of charger, but you'd most likely have to reach out to the manufacturer to get the right one. Personally, I would just leave the battery in at all times so that it could charge when plugged in and only take it out if I had a back up battery and needed it or when giving it a good cleaning.
