Should You Air Down When Using the pewag Wide Base Tire Chains

When using these chains off road can the tires still be aired down? And if they can what pressure can they be aired down to?

In regards to the pewag Wide Base Tire Chains part # PW94FR, you should not air down as this can cause the tire chains to slip since you're changing the dimensions of the tire. In most cases, a more narrow tire is actually better in the snow/ice than a wider one as they are able to cut through the snow and ice better.

For the front axle of a truck like yours with the tire size 33x12.50-20 I would recommend the pewag Starwave Chains part #PW94FR which uses a zig zag pattern for the chain links which allows it to provide better traction around corners.
