Offset Gooseneck Ball Compatible With Ford Puck/Prep With a Convert-A-Ball Offset 5th Wheel To Goose

Question:

Hello, just curious if I could use the convert-a-ball in combination with the BandW 4inch Offset Ball, to give a total of close to 12inch assuming it is not too far back to hit the tailgate? Currently have an F350 with 8ft bed. My wife has a vet box that takes up the first 4ft of the bed, so trying to come up with a 5th wheel set-up to be able to pull an RV at some point. The manufacturer of the vet box says this is their unique 5th wheel design, but clearance seems tight to pull it off. Seems like the only way to do it is to come up with some type of 5th wheel to gooseneck adapter with an offset. Please see pics attached and let me know what you think. Thanks!

You will need the Gen-Y Hitch Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # GY43XR on your 2019 Ford F-350 as you have the factory puck/prep in bed hitch system. The 4" Offset Ball # BWGNXA4085 you found is only for use in a B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitch. You can combine the 5" offset of the Gen-Y above with the 7-1/2" offset of the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5GX1216 for a total offset of 12-1/2". With the height of your vet box above your rails you may not be able to make full jackknife turns even with this additional offset.
