Timbren vs SumoSprings for 5th Wheel Towing with a 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty 4x4

Question:

I have a 2022 F-350 4x4 Superduty SRW and I pull a 5th Wheel with a hitch weight of 2,300 lbs. I looking to understand which would be better - Timbren SES or the Sumospring? Which one would give me the best sag relief between the two?

I definitely understand the confusion, as both kits look similar. The kit I recommend for your 2022 Ford F-350 4x4 though is the Rebel kit from SumoSprings:

- SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSR-128-40-2

The reason I like this over the Timbrens is because the Timbren springs tend to be less forgiving. While that initially sounds like a good thing for heavy duty towing, it also means you're going to feel it when you aren't towing.

SumoSprings has done an excellent job at combining functionality with comfort and since the kit I recommended has a 3,000 lb capacity you'll get the benefits when hitched up to your 5th wheel trailer.

Please note that you can't use this if you have a 3" block between the leaf pack and top overload spring, or if you don't have a bump stop perch over the axle. Without the bump stop perch you need the SumoSprings Rebel Custom Helper Springs # SSR-129-40-2 instead.
