I have the bandw companion slider hitch pick system for my 2018 ram 3500 if I was to trade and get a gmc is there an adapter or would I need a whole new hit h

To convert the B&W Companion Slider item # BWRVK3670 that fits the Ram puck system over to one that fits the GM pattern you would just need to swap out the base. There are two options for replacement bases depending on what year GM truck you purchase and I have listed them below:

2016 - 2019 Chevy/GMC trucks with towing prep package - Replacement Slider Base item # BWRVB3770

2020 - Current Chevy/GMC trucks with towing prep package - Replacement Slider Base item # BWRVB3775
