Recommended Weight Distribution for Towing a 2011 Onyx R-Vision 22 with a 2011 Chevy Tahoe
Question:
i have a 2011 Chevy Tahoe LTZ. Just bought my first trailer with electric brakes. It is a 2011 Onyx R-Vision 22. Weight of trailer is 3886, with a max load in it 6169 lbs. My Tahoe has a tow package and can tow up to 8200 lbs. What load distribution set up/sway bar do you recommend for this package? Thank you

To tow your 2011 Onyx R-Vision 22 with your 2011 Chevy Tahoe I recommend using the Blue Ox TrackPro:
- Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control # BLU47FR
I like this system because it's simple to setup prior to towing and there's some adjustability with the mounting brackets to make it easier to install. The tongue weight range of this system is 600 lbs - 800 lbs so if you load your trailer with the 10% tongue weight rule in mind this will work great for your application!
