How Does Brake Controller Install on Sprinter without Green Plug Under Seat and har
Question:
2008 Sprinter, i purchased Redarc/RED44FR and harness part # 3063-P. It seems my Tow package was installed new at dealer, and is NOT factory, as i cant find the green plug below seat. So it seems there is a harness i can get, so i have a green plug? Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness? Is this available for my model? and will it cause any CAN BUS issues?

If the green harness isn't there then most likely there isn't a similar harness elsewhere for a brake controller install port. It would seem like you'd need to hardwire at this point to your current 7-way.
You will need the # 10-2-1 and # 5506. One wire from the # 10-2-1 will run from the 7-way connector to the the positive terminal of the battery with 40 amp circuit breaker included with the # 5506, and the other wire of the # 10-2-1 will run from the 7-way connector to where the trailer brake controller will get installed.
Blue wire from controller harness to the wire you ran from the 7-way connector.
Red wire from controller harness to cold side of the stop light switch that only has power when the brake pedal is pressed. You can identify this wire by using a circuit tester like # PTW2993.
Black wire from controller harness to positive terminal of your battery with the 20 amp circuit breaker included with the # 5506.
White wire from controller harness to ground.
