Can Tow Dolly with Radial 205/75-14 be Replaced with Bias Ply Tire
Question:
Hello, I have a tow dolly with ST 205/75R14 tires which need to be replaced due to side-wall cracking. I use this trailer to tow a car behind my Class A Motorhome two or three times a year. Is it acceptable to replace the tires with a bias ply tire, ST 205/75D14? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
Yes you could replace your current tire size ST205/75-14 radial with a bias ply if you wanted to. For that we have the part # AM1ST86 which would work really well. Radials typically are preferred since they handle a little better and are more stable but they end up costing more as their drawback. If you wanted a similar radial that's priced close the part # AM10234 would be your best option.
