Will your 4 prong flat plug work if you already have a factory hookup?

I am not sure what 4-way kit you are referring to but if you wanted to add a 4-way to your 2014 Chevy Silverado 1500 that has the factory 7-way all you'd need is the Curt kit part # C55384 which installs by plugging inline with the 7-way connector which also allows you to keep your 7-way.
