Crossbar Dimensions of Malone Roof Rack that Fits 2023 Subaru Crosstrek

Question:

I’m retiring a 2003 Forester with square Thule bars, so I have a bunch of Thule attachments. Got a 2023 Subaru Crosstrek Ltd with roof rails. The Malone square bars should be good—do you have dimensions for the rectangular cross section of the bar? Also, can I trim the bar length a bit so I don’t wack my head? And lastly, how easy are the bars to remove and replace. The Thule square bars, at least, were too noisy to leave on all the time Thanks!

The 58 inch Malone Square bar roof rack part # MPG202 does fit your 2023 Subaru Crosstrek but if you were wanting shorter bars the 50 inch version part # MPG201 is also a fit and would be a great option. The bar dimensions are 1-1/4" wide x 7/8" tall and they can be trimmed shorter if you needed.
